Tell us a little about your business. What do you offer, and what makes it unique?

I offer resume services to anyone, regardless of level, tenure, and experience.  What makes me different is the fact that I approach the situation with both strategy and empathy.  As a former psychotherapist who moved into human resources, specifically talent acquisition for over a decade. The plight of job, searching and help guide people to identify their knowledge, skills and abilities.  Then I help them leverage that to obtain a new role.


How did your journey as a business owner begin? What inspired you to get started?

I had been writing resumes for years to help out friends and people who were referred over to me with great success because I take a strengths based approach to the way it’s written.  After my daughter was born, I took a chance in order to support my family in a different way Will still providing by opening up business.  This allows me to continue to help people while also providing for my loved ones.


How long have you been in business, and why did you choose Hutto as your home base?

I opened my LLC in January of 2023, though I had been working before hand without payment.  I live here in Hutto so why wouldn’t I choose here?


What’s been one of your most memorable moments as a business owner?

There’s been so many.  My favorite part is when I see people who have been struggling to get back into the working world land a job.  I love getting texts about how someone has landed a new role, doubled their salary and/or are just overall so much happier. 


What do you think makes the Hutto community special?

There are some really great people here that like to help each other out and that is something that I believe in.  I love to help people.  I’m a former social worker and Returned Peace Corps volunteer so it’s kind of in my blood.


What advice would you give to someone just starting a business here?

Do it.  You can only strategically plan so much, the hardest part is taking that leap of faith.


When you're not working, where can we find you around town? (Favorite coffee, food, or hangout spots?)

I’m a huge fan of the Hutto Farmers Market.  My favorite vendors there are Tenny’s Wild Alaskan Seafood and Hutto Soap & Candle. H-E-B, seriously, I love to cook and we eat a lot of fresh produce, you will find me there a few times a week.

Occasionally the family will splurge and we enjoy Southside BBQ.


Anything exciting coming up you'd like the community to know about?
