Rules: Best of Hutto Community Awards

 

1. Eligibility
The Best of Community Awards ("Awards") is open to individuals aged 18 and above. All businesses and nominees must be located within the specified boundaries of Hutto, Texas.

2. Award Categories
The Awards encompass various categories, including but not limited to Best Food, Best of Youth, Best of Community, Best Entertainment, Best Shopping, and Best in Service. The organizer reserves the right to amend or introduce additional categories as deemed appropriate.

3. Nomination Process
Nominations will be accepted exclusively during the designated nomination period. Participants may submit one nomination per business, per category. Duplicate or inappropriate nominations will be disqualified at the organizer's discretion. The top three nominees in each category will advance to the voting round.

4. Finalist Selection
All nominations will be reviewed and curated by the organizer to determine finalists. Finalists will be announced following the conclusion of the nomination period.

5. Voting Process
The official voting period will be announced by the organizer. During this time, community members may cast one vote per person, per category.

​

6. Fair Play
Any actions designed to manipulate the voting process, such as fraudulent voting, will result in immediate disqualification. The organizer retains the authority to address such violations as necessary. Nominations for service companies will only go to the business. For example, nominating multiple therapists in one massage location will not be permitted. The location will be the one to receive the award.

7. Results Announcement
Winners will be determined based on the highest number of verified votes received during the voting period. Winners will be announced during a virtual awards ceremony.

Results and Announcements:

• All competition results are held privately by iHutto.

• Winners will be announced online on Monday, March 3, 2026.

• Winners will receive a printable certificate, an electronic 2026 logo, and bragging rights.

 

8. Awards Ceremony
A virtual awards ceremony will be held to recognize and celebrate the winners. Details, including the date and format, will be communicated to the community in advance.

9. Privacy and Data Collection
Personal information gathered during the nomination and voting processes will be used exclusively for administering the Awards. By participating, individuals consent to the collection and use of their information for this purpose.

10. Publicity
Winners may be featured in promotional campaigns, local media, and community publications. Participants agree to participate in post-event publicity as required by the organizer.

11. Organizer's Discretion
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify nominations, votes, or participants found in violation of these terms and conditions in the current term or prior terms. All decisions made by the organizer are final and binding.

12. Modification of Terms
The organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes through the official Awards platform.

​

13. Termination of Awards
The organizer retains the right to terminate or suspend the Awards due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control.
