So, what sets Sweet Daisies Photography apart? “I understand how important capturing our loved ones truly is,” Jillian says. “I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I want to give my clients memories that last lifetimes, not just photos.”

A Father’s Words, A Daughter’s Dream
Jillian’s journey into photography wasn’t just about passion, it was about purpose.
“I’ve been drawn to photography since I was a little girl, but it wasn’t until after my father passed away that I decided to make it my career. One of the last conversations I had with him was about pursuing a job that let me use my talents and creativity.”
Out of that bittersweet encouragement, Sweet Daisies Photography was born, named after a song her dad used to sing to her: “I’ll give you a daisy a day, dear.”
It’s more than a business. It’s a tribute.
Six Years and Counting in Hutto
Sweet Daisies Photography has been capturing cherished moments for six years now, and Jillian couldn’t imagine being based anywhere else but Hutto.
“This is home for my family,” she says. “We’ve lived here since 2013, and the sense of community and pride here is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.”
Jillian first found her footing in Hutto through local mom groups, where she met a supportive circle of women who helped one another grow, personally and professionally.
Moments That Matter
Of all the highlights from her photography career, one moment stands out the most:
“I received a message from a past client who had lost a loved one. They told me how much those photos meant to them, how they were some of the last professional images ever taken. That reminded me why I do what I do.”
For Jillian, each session is a chance to freeze time, honor relationships, and hold space for the people we love most.
Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Starting a business? Jillian has one big piece of advice. “Don’t be afraid to reach out. Connect with those who’ve been where you are. Learn from your community instead of seeing them as competition.”
In Hutto, she says, there’s enough success to go around, and more than enough support if you’re willing to ask for it.
