Tell us a little about your business. What do you offer, and what makes it unique?

We are a boba tea shop that also offers smoothies, slushies, coffee and shaved ice. We are unique because we're a one stop shop for various different types of drinks and confections.

How did your journey as a business owner begin? What inspired you to get started?

I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Our granddaughter (Ryleigh) would always ask us to take her to Teapioca and at the time neither my wife (Tonya) nor myself had any idea what boba tea was. We finally tried it and the rest is history!

How long have you been in business, and why did you choose Hutto as your home base?

10 months.......We chose Hutto because after doing research and learning just how much growth is happening in Hutto it just made sense. We also thought that as popular as boba tea has become, Hutto needed a local option that was less than 10 miles away and there's no better place than Hutto who didn't have a solid boba tea option

What’s been one of your most memorable moments as a business owner?

Grand Opening! It was bananas! We got to see firsthand that we made the right decision. The local support was phenomenal!

What do you think makes the Hutto community special?

The hometown feel and support but also the boomtown growth it's experiencing........best of both worlds!

What advice would you give to someone just starting a business here?

Get to know and communicate with the county Health Department EARLY in the process........it can be really beneficial or really detrimental to when your doors open

When you're not working, where can we find you around town? (Favorite coffee, food, or hangout spots?)

Hate to say it but I don't hang out much........when I'm not working I'm just relaxing at home trying to give my feet a rest LOL 8. Anything exciting coming up you'd like the community to know about?
