In a rapidly growing trade industry, Kaizen Glass Solutions is setting the standard, right here in Hutto. As a specialized training center, Kaizen offers hands-on instruction in auto glass replacement, repair, ADAS calibration, and glazing for residential and commercial applications. They even offer wheel restoration classes, giving students a comprehensive skill set to launch or elevate their careers.

What makes Kaizen truly unique is their Auto Glass Safety Council, accredited curriculum, ensuring every student leaves with more than just technical knowledge, they leave with confidence, industry credibility, and job-ready experience.

Tell us a little about your business. What do you offer, and what makes it unique?

Kaizen Glass Solutions is a hands-on training center specializing in auto glass replacement, repair, ADAS calibration, and glazing, including flat glass applications like commercial storefronts, frameless showers, and residential windows. We also offer wheel restoration classes. What sets us apart is our Auto Glass Safety Council–accredited curriculum and our commitment to helping students thrive in a growing industry.

How did your journey as a business owner begin? What inspired you to get started?

After spending over two decades supporting customers in the auto glass industry, helping them find the right tools, training, and solutions, it felt like a natural next step to build something of my own. I wanted to create a space where people could get the support they need to succeed, whether they're just getting started or looking to grow. That’s how Kaizen Glass Solutions came to life, with the mission of continuous improvement and support for every student.

How long have you been in business, and why did you choose Hutto as your home base?

I’ve been in the auto glass industry for 24 years, and Kaizen Glass Solutions is coming up on our 2-year anniversary this November. Hutto was an easy choice—it’s where my kids go to school, where we live nearby, and where we feel connected. I believe in working close to home and investing in the community where you spend most of your time.

What’s been one of your most memorable moments as a business owner?

The success stories of our students are hands down the most memorable and rewarding part. Hearing about their growth, career progress, and confidence since training with us, those moments remind us why we do this. Their success truly feels like our own.

What do you think makes the Hutto community special?

It’s got to be the Hippos! Despite the traffic challenges our students sometimes face, Hutto’s character stands out, from its unique mascot to the welcoming vibe and strong sense of identity. If the Hippos don't leave a lasting impression on our students, the beautiful high school football stadium certainly does for those coming from around the globe!

What advice would you give to someone just starting a business here?

Get connected. Join the Chamber of Commerce, attend local events, and stay involved with school programs. Building relationships within the community is one of the best ways to grow and thrive here.

When you're not working, where can we find you around town?

I’m all about supporting local spots! Ricardo’s is my go-to for breakfast tacos, Happy Panini is great for lunch, and Hall of Fame is perfect for catching a game or live music. I also love the waterfront patio at Jack Allen’s, and for comfort food and unforgettable pies—The Texan Café never disappoints.

Anything exciting coming up you'd like the community to know about?

We’ve been collaborating with the automotive programs at Hutto ISD and Georgetown ISD to showcase the variety of careers in the auto repair field—including auto glass. Our hope is to launch a high school class this summer and eventually help students with job placement and internships. Auto glass is a career you can take with you anywhere in the world. After all, “Kaizen” means change for the better—and that’s what we’re here to deliver.
