From Leap of Faith to Leading Broker

Courtney’s journey into real estate was born out of faith, family, and the desire for a better life.

“I was a full-time working single mom, leaving my daughter at daycare at 6:45 a.m. and not picking her up until after 6 p.m. I knew I was missing too much. After a lot of prayer, I left my job of over 9 years and took a leap into real estate.”

That leap happened in 2013, and in 2020, Rustic Oak Real Estate officially opened its doors. What started as a personal career change has now grown into a thriving, community-centered brokerage. Today, Courtney not only gets to build a business, she gets to be present with her family in a way she once dreamed of.

Why Hutto?

Although born in Austin and raised in Liberty Hill, Courtney’s heart has always been in Hutto.

“I spent summers and holidays here as a kid. After high school, I moved back to be closer to family, and I never left. It’s where I raised my kids, and where I’m still raising my youngest. Hutto is home.”

The perfect blend of small-town charm and steady growth made Hutto the natural choice for Rustic Oak’s home base.
