Rockport is an ideal getaway for those looking to avoid huge beach crowds and appreciate the artistic side of the Gulf Coast at Texas.

BEACH PARK AT ISLA BLANCA (formerly Schlitterbahn)

Formerly Schlitterbahn, this family-fun center, known as Beach Park at Isla Blanca is an indoor and outdoor water park that guarantees a fun time for everyone in the family. A year-round attraction, the water park boasts a full-service restaurant, plenty of discovery, and stunning views of the Gulf Coast waters.


Known as the resort town of Texas, or the Spring Break destination, South Padre promises pristine beaches and calm ocean waters. If you're not visiting for Spring Break, and birdwatching is your thing, you'll appreciate the 5-story watchtower to view spectacular sites of migrating birds. Stop by the South Padre Island Dolphin Research and Sealife Nature Center for boat tours and touch tanks.


Also known as Surfside, the natural beauty of this area is perfect for events you may be looking to host on the beach. Stahlman Park is available for rentals and ideal for weddings, reunions, company events, or a get together with friends. Surfside Beach also boasts plenty of restaurants, fishing, and four parks.
