Nomination Period:
February 2, 2024 thru February 16, 2024.
Voting Period:
February 18, 2024 thru March 2, 2024.
Winners Announced:
March 4, 2024
1. Eligibility:
The Best of Community Awards ("Awards") is open to all individuals within the community aged 18 and above. Businesses and nominees must BE LOCATED within the specified community boundaries of Hutto.
2. Award Categories:
The awards will be presented in various categories, including but not limited to BEST FOOD, BEST OF KIDS, BEST OF COMMUNITY, BEST ENTERTAINMENT, BEST SHOPPING, and BEST IN SERVICE. The organizer reserves the right to modify or add categories as deemed necessary.
3. Nomination Process:
Nominations will be accepted during the specified nomination period. Only one nomination per individual per category is allowed. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify duplicate or inappropriate nominations. The top 5 in each category will move to the voting round.
4. Finalists Selection:
The organizer will review and curate nominations to determine the finalists for each category. The top 5 in each category will move to the voting round. Finalists will be announced after the nomination period.
5. Voting Process:
The official voting period will be announced, during which community members can cast their votes for the finalists. Each participant is allowed one vote per category, per day.
6. Fair Play:
Any attempt to manipulate the voting process, including but not limited to fraudulent voting, will result in disqualification. The organizer reserves the right to take appropriate action against such activities.
7. Results Announcement:
Winners will be determined based on the highest number of legitimate votes received during the voting period. Winners will be announced at the virtual awards ceremony.
8. Awards Ceremony:
The virtual awards ceremony will be conducted to announce and celebrate the winners. The date and details of the ceremony will be communicated to the community in advance.
9. Privacy and Data Collection:
Personal information collected during the nomination and voting process will be used solely for the purpose of the Awards. By participating, individuals consent to the collection and use of their data for this purpose.
10. Publicity:
Winners may be featured in promotional materials, local media, and community publications. Participants agree to participate in post-event publicity if required.
11. Organizer's Discretion:
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify nominations, votes, or participants deemed to be in violation of these terms and conditions. Decisions made by the organizer are final.
12. Modification of Terms:
The organizer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes through the official awards platform.
13. Termination of Awards:
The organizer reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Awards at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or factors beyond its control.
14. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Texas. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Awards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Texas.
